These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of www.connectedcc.com.au (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by ConnectEd Counselling and Consultancy. This Site is an ecommerce website. By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of ConnectEd Counselling and Consultancy and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, course materials, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, record, or share course content or materials without prior written permission.
Acceptable Use
As a user of our Site, you agree to use our Site legally and not to use our Site for illegal purposes, including but not limited to: harassing or mistreating other users of our Site; violating the rights of other users of our Site; violating the intellectual property rights of the Site owners or any third party; sharing or reselling access to your account or course content; attempting to hack into or compromise the Site or another user’s account; posting any material that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive. If we believe you are using our Site illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your access without refund.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree that: you are solely responsible for your account and its security, including passwords; all personal information you provide is accurate and up to date; you will not share your login details with any other person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or in breach of these Terms.
Sale of Goods and Services
These Terms govern the sale of goods and services available on our Site, including: counselling; consultancy; online education. The services must be paid for in full at the time of ordering.
Course Access & Expiry
Access to online education courses is granted for 15 months from the date of purchase. After this period, access expires automatically. No extensions will be provided unless purchased separately. Course content may be updated, changed, or removed at our discretion during the access period. You are responsible for ensuring you complete the course within the access period.
Payments and Refunds
We accept the following payment methods: credit card. When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the amount due. All goods and services, including online education courses, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law. This includes situations where you change your mind, do not complete the course, or fail to use your access within the 15-month period.
Digital Access Disclaimer
All courses and resources are delivered digitally. You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable internet access and a compatible device. We make reasonable efforts to ensure compatibility with common browsers and systems, but we cannot guarantee access on every device or configuration. We are not liable for access issues arising from your technology, internet connection, or organisational IT restrictions.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or other applicable legislation applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms do not limit your legal rights. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory provisions of such legislation, the mandatory provisions will apply.
Limitation of Liability
The information provided in our online courses, counselling, and consultancy services is for educational purposes only and should not be considered medical, legal, or professional advice. While care is taken to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee outcomes or results from applying the material. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConnectEd Counselling and Consultancy and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, liability, or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of our Site, services, or reliance on course content.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, you indemnify and hold harmless ConnectEd Counselling and Consultancy and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any claims, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our Site or violation of these Terms.
